A container conversion gives you a durable, secure, relocatable building for a fraction of the cost and time of traditional construction. Most of the work happens off site, so what arrives at your location is close to finished.

Insulation is the whole job
An uninsulated container is cold in winter, unbearable in summer, and wet with condensation year round. The difference between a container that works as a building and one that doesn’t is entirely in the lining specification.
We insulate to a proper standard with the vapour control detailed correctly, so the steel stays dry and the space stays usable in February as well as July.
Finished how you want it
Inside: partitions, joinery, kitchenettes, washrooms, lighting, power and data. Outside: timber or composite cladding, a hard-wearing airless spray finish in your colours, and branding if you want it. The result should look like a considered building, not a box on a hardstanding.

Common questions
Do I need planning permission for a container conversion?
It depends on use, siting and how long it stays. A container used as temporary site accommodation is usually treated differently from a permanent café or retail unit. We assess your specific situation early and tell you what consent is needed before you commit to anything.
Are converted containers warm enough to use year round?
Yes, when insulated properly. A bare container is a steel box and behaves like one, so insulation and vapour control are the whole job. We line ours to a specification that performs through a British winter and, just as importantly, does not sweat with condensation.
What can a container be converted into?
Offices and studios, meeting rooms, cafés and food outlets, retail and pop-up units, welfare and site accommodation, workshops and storage. Multiple containers can be joined or stacked to create larger spaces.
How long does a conversion take?
Most single-container conversions are complete within two to four weeks of the container arriving. Because the majority of the work is done off site, disruption at your location is usually limited to delivery, siting and connection of services.
